In recent years, Microsoft has been very aggressive towards its smart phones competitors in many ways, which include launching of The Microsoft Office suite, One Drive for Android and A Lock Screen for Android.
But Now, Reports say that Microsoft's Voice assistant is also heading to android. Microsoft is working on an Upgrade for Cortana with project name "Einstein". It aims to improve speech recognition, reading and understanding of emails, and machine learning, in order to become more predictive.
“We’re defining the competitive landscape… of who can provide the most supportive services that make life easier, keep track of things, that complement human memory in a way that helps us get things done,” - Eric Horvitz, managing director of Microsoft Research and a part of the Einstein project
If this Advancement is true then it would be a big problem for Google. This brings us to the
